What equipment is provided/ needed?
With your registration fee a hat and shirt (jersey) is provided for baseball. A visor, shirt (jersey) and socks are provided for softball.
The league offers helmets, bats and catchers equipment of use if a player decides not to bring their own.
Do I need to register online?
No, you do not need to register online however as an organization, we are trying to be more efficient and find ways to help make it easier for our volunteers and this is a way to help.

Please be aware of the following bat changes for the 2016 season:
From the PONY 2016 Rules and Regulations:
Rule 8 – Equipment, Paragraph C; (Clarifies CSL Article 14 – SECTION D)
- Bats manufactured specifically for use in tee ball play, shall not be used when the ball is pitched by a player, coach, or pitching machine.
- 2-1/4” barrel bats are LEGAL in all divisions of PONY baseball. They must have a Bat Performance Factor (BPF) of 1.15 stamped on the bat. In addition the bat must be stamped “Approved for play in PONY baseball.”
- 2-5/8” barrel bats are LEGAL in all divisions of PONY baseball. If a 2-5/8” is -3, it must be BBCOR certified (stamped on the bat). Currently all 2-5/8” bats -5, -7, -9 etc. are legal.
- 2-3/4” barrel bats are PROHIBITED in all divisions of PONY baseball.
- Effective January 1, 2014, Colt, and Palomino will only be allowed to use 2-5/8” -3 BBCOR certified bats
